Transform Your Hearing with our Audiology Care
Bespoke Audiology
Care and solutions
Since 2019, Viewpoint has been providing a different kind of audiology service. Built entirely in-house and shaped around our patients, we have created an experience that puts people before sales.
We believe audiology is about far more than simply selling hearing aids. It is about listening, understanding, and helping people reconnect with the sounds that matter most.
That’s why we offer something increasingly difficult to find: time and freedom. Time to thoroughly understand your hearing needs, and the freedom to recommend what is genuinely best for you, without pressure or compromise.
At Viewpoint, you are never just another appointment. We are here to support you every step of the way, helping you find the solution that best suits your hearing, lifestyle, and goals.
Advanced Testing
At Viewpoint, accurately assessing your hearing is our priority. Just like our optical examinations, our hearing assessments utilise state-of-the-art equipment and procedures to ensure the most precise results possible.
During a full hearing assessment, we will take the time to listen to your hearing concerns and goals, assess the health of your ears and eardrums, evaluate middle ear function, measure your hearing thresholds across a range of frequencies, and assess your ability to understand speech, including in background noise.
We understand that an accurate assessment is the foundation of successful hearing care, allowing us to recommend the most appropriate solutions for your individual needs and lifestyle.
Fully Independent
Unlike many local providers, Viewpoint is a dedicated full-time audiology centre and a core part of our business. Operating five days a week with a single highly experienced Audiologist, we are able to provide genuine continuity of care and build lasting relationships with our patients.
We believe every individual is unique, which is why we take the time to assess each person thoroughly and tailor our recommendations to their specific needs. Hearing care is never a one-size-fits-all solution.
Our focus is simple: helping you hear better for longer. By combining clinical expertise with a personalised approach, we are committed to achieving the very best outcomes for your hearing health.
As a fully independent provider, we offer hearing solutions from all of the “Big Six” hearing aid manufacturers. This allows us to recommend the technology that is right for you, rather than being limited to a single brand.
Hearing Better is a Journey
Comprehensive Hearing Tests
Struggling to hear in certain situations? Experiencing tinnitus, balance concerns, or simply worried about your hearing?
A comprehensive hearing assessment is the essential first step. At Viewpoint, we take the time to thoroughly evaluate your hearing and ear health using state-of-the-art equipment and testing procedures.
Our assessments include:
- Ear canal and eardrum health checks
- Video otoscopy
- Comprehensive hearing testing
- Speech understanding assessments, including testing in background noise
By understanding exactly how your hearing is performing, we can provide clear advice and recommend the most appropriate next steps for your individual needs.
Emily has a genuine passion for helping people hear better. With an early background in sound engineering as well as playing drums in a rock band, her fascination with sound naturally led her to a career in Audiology.
Emily is qualified with a BSc (Hons) in Audiology and is registered with both the BSHAA and BAA. She has also undertaken advanced training in ear wax removal, further enhancing the range of care she can provide. Before joining Viewpoint, Emily spent over 10 years working within both NHS and private hearing care settings, gaining extensive experience in diagnosing and managing hearing difficulties.
Today’s AI-powered hearing technology is making speech in background noise more accessible than ever before, helping people communicate with greater confidence in challenging listening environments.
Only the person experiencing the hearing difficulty can truly determine whether a hearing aid is beneficial in their day-to-day life. That is why we insist on a free four-week hearing aid trial, giving you the opportunity to experience the benefits in your own listening environments before making any long-term commitment.
This trial period allows us to assess the real-world benefit of the hearing aids, gather your feedback, and ensure we are recommending the most appropriate solution for your individual needs
Wax Removal
The NHS ceased providing routine ear wax removal in 2019 as part of a Core Service Review. As a result, many private clinics now offer this service to meet growing demand.
Currently, there is no mandatory qualification required to provide ear wax removal, making it important to choose a trusted and suitably qualified practitioner.
At Viewpoint, our Audiologist is fully qualified in microsuction, irrigation, and manual wax removal, with advanced training and extensive experience. You can be confident that your ears will be cared for safely and professionally to the highest standard.
